Back story: Since his father was killed by Tazurai, tormenting his childhood repeatedly, Efrain must cease his reign from destroying Japan. He and his family moved to Japan when Efrain was 12 years of age. At age 15, he and Dahlia moved to Takayama where they meet Janet Melrose, the head of a new foundation known as the Specter Stoppers. Ten years later, Efrain and Dahlia met Preston during a fight at a local bar with a group of ghosts from a different dimension. He also met Rory, a young college professor, at the library and Zach, the only African born japanese, at the Main Shrine of Ise. As leader of the Specter Stoppers, he must prevent any apparition all threat from corrupting the entire country.
